# Reference interpretation and accuracy

This is an editable reference-based reconstruction, not a surveyed BIM or construction model. All source PDFs and the later ground-floor drawings and three exterior-angle JPGs are included unchanged in `reference/`.

## Coordinate convention

Use the upright floor-plan pages: X increases right, Y increases down the sheet, Z is vertical. The rear glazed living corner is at the upper-left of page 1; exterior stairs are below the page. The House parent reflects sheet Y into Blender world Y; glTF converts Z-up to Y-up, giving input-plan coordinates (x,z,y) in the viewer. This preserves the drawings’ handedness in top views. “Front” means the stair façade, not geographic south; north was not established.

## What came from the plans

`planimetri propozim.pdf`, page 1, titled “Plani i katit te pare”:

- Exterior walls 25 cm; normal internal partitions 12 cm; stair/bath separator 20 cm.
- Rear clear widths 524 cm and 405 cm. Combined with walls this gives 9.91 m total rear width.
- Right-side depth chain: 25 + 352 + 12 + 152 + 20 + 210 + 12 + 388 + 25 cm, producing 11.96 m overall depth.
- Left living/kitchen depth 941 cm clear; front terrace 418 × 205 cm.
- Interior doors labelled 90/220 and 80/220 cm; terrace door 100/230 cm.
- First-floor bedrooms, bathroom, open living/kitchen space and U stair located from the plan.

Page 2, titled “Plani i katit te dyte”:

- 131 cm setback / side terrace, 557 cm long.
- Front terrace 418 × 205 cm; main division 393 cm / 405 cm.
- Stair width 210 cm; right-room depth 388 cm; rear-room depth 352 cm.
- The rear bedroom connects to an area interpreted as a dressing room, with no bed symbol on its right. A front bedroom, two bathroom compartments and sitting room follow the drawing. Detailed furniture models retain schematic plan footprints.
- Some adjacent clear dimensions differ between pages by centimetres. Shared exterior alignment and page-1 primary chain govern this model; the JSON exposes individual wall coordinates for refinement.

## Exterior interpretation

All ten day pages and three night pages were visually inspected. Day pages 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 informed the façade steps, exterior U stair, tall corner glazing, rail spacing, dark horizontal trim and hipped standing-seam roof. Night pages 1–3 informed warm wall sconces, soffit lights and low garden lights. Their locations and intensities are visual estimates, not an electrical design.

Brick panels are modelled as small running-bond meshes. Glazing, walls, floors, metal, roof and furniture use portable glTF materials. No remote texture or HDRI is required.

## Estimated / incomplete information

- Floor elevations −1.15, +1.20, +4.20 and +7.20 m; 3.00 m normal floor-to-floor height; 0.22 m slabs.
- Roof rise 1.45 m, 0.60 m nominal overhang, trim and rafter dimensions.
- Window widths are scaled from the plan where unlabelled; sill and head elevations are estimated from renders.
- The latest dimensioned ground plan supersedes the initial unscaled PNG. Its exterior dimension chains drive the footprint and veranda; heights, unannotated openings and the bathroom partition position remain estimates. Basement is still an assumed 8.10 × 5.00 m rectangle. Foundation infill is illustrative support geometry.
- Site paving and planting are illustrative. The site pad is not the property boundary. No terrain survey, georeferencing or verified solar direction is included.
- Plan-defined partitions take precedence over ambiguous render openings. The viewer is a reconstruction study, not a pixel-identical recreation of every render.
- Stairs have modelled treads, stringers and railings, but no code compliance or headroom certification. The internal U stair is attached to First floor and reaches Second floor. Exterior stairs have their own group.
- Walkthrough is free navigation without collision, gravity or automatic stair climbing. Q/E changes height; choose a floor for an eye-level starting point.

## Area reconciliation

`propozim siperfaqe.pdf` records property 430.4 m², existing ground 104.9 m², basement 40.5 m², proposed first 110.1 m² and second 102.8 m².

Generated enclosed/base slab areas are basement 40.500 m², ground 86.403 m², first 110.153 m² and second 94.351 m² after the stair void. The ground veranda adds 16.340 m²; a 1.20 × 1.80 m entrance stair adds 2.160 m², matching the source's 18.5 m² veranda/stairs and 104.9 m² total after rounding. The second-floor base slab before its stair void is 102.856 m²; upper-floor balcony/void area conventions remain unresolved.

Before construction or quantity use, reconcile the source area definitions, survey existing ground/basement, and confirm levels, openings, roof structure and site elevations.

## Exterior refinement pass

Day pages 1/4/6 and night pages 1–3 were used to refine the central solid brick piers and their narrow sidelights, dark closed entrance doors, slab cornices, corner-glazing guards, brick lintels, stair tread finish and parapet coping. Bay spans and dimensioned floor-plan walls were retained. The undocumented ground-side window is a render-based estimate. Furniture in the second-floor lounge was initially repositioned to prevent an exterior intersection; the interior pass subsequently rebuilt its footprint from the plan.

Each wall sconce now emits up and down cones; soffit lights point down and interior lights illuminate rooms behind the glass. Final intensities and material roughness are artistic estimates. The lower perspective camera is closer to the reference viewpoint, but it is not a solved match of the architect's original camera.

Balcony finish slabs no longer overlap coplanar structural surfaces. The base footprint rectangles already include the front terrace; the separately projecting side terrace adds 7.2967 m² on the second floor. The build report's `floor_areas` still measures the base rectangles minus stair holes, excluding this side projection. It is not an enclosed usable-area calculation.

## Interior comparison

The interior pass used the upright images of both pages of `planimetri propozim.pdf`. Page 1 informed the L sofa, two armchairs, media console, six-seat dining table, island with two stools, two east-facing beds, wardrobes, laundry block and bathroom fixtures. Page 2 informed the south-facing suite bed, adjoining dressing area, front east-facing bed, wardrobe runs, sitting-room sofa and the two bathrooms. Rectangular symbols without labels (particularly the dressing island/console and laundry block) remain interpreted functions.

The upper suite divider now terminates before the hall, matching the open connection in the plan. Its hall has one 90 cm entrance. The left bathroom is 2.32 × 2.22 m clear and the right bathroom is 2.85 m wide. The sitting-room entrance sits in its short north wall; an overlapping duplicated partition was removed. The annotated right-side depth chain totals 11.96 m, correcting the previous 12.06 m transcription. Doors remain simplified hinged assemblies rather than manufactured products.

Oak floors, rugs, pale upholstery, cabinetry, tiles, mirrors, sanitaryware profiles, ceiling fixtures and white ceilings are illustrative. The drawings establish placement and some footprints, not those finishes. Window elevations still follow the earlier exterior interpretation; some window/wardrobe relationships differ between the exterior renders and floor-plan symbols. The ground-floor interior was subsequently traced from the supplied PNG as described below. Basement interiors remain inferred.

The viewer's plan cameras are perspective top views for navigation; the exported `interior-previews/floor1.png` and `floor2.png` are orthographic. The internal stair belongs to the first-floor group; the isolated second-floor preview restores that stair so it remains visible through the slab opening.

## Original ground-floor trace added on 19 September 2026 (superseded)

The outer polygon was traced at image pixels (47,152), (541,152), (541,40), (941,40), (941,949), (145,949), (145,562), (47,562). Its 719,392 px² area was scaled uniformly to 104.9 m² (approximately 0.0120755 m/px). That original trace used the same provisional scale for walls and openings and is preserved in `model/ground-before-alignment.json`. Sill heights, door heights and finishes remain estimates.

The trace includes seven windows, four internal doors and a two-leaf entrance. Door swings follow the image. The user subsequently confirmed living room and kitchen at upper left, bedrooms in both right rooms, and bathroom at lower left. Furniture designs, finishes and placement are illustrative additions requested by the user, rather than details traced from this empty plan. The entrance centre is placed at X=4.62 and its front edge at sheet Y=12.06 to meet the existing model approach. The new outline differs from the upper floors; this vertical registration is provisional and is especially clear in the side-by-side comparison. Confirm dimensions and alignment before treating the assembled exterior as an as-built model.

The earlier rendered PNGs predate the ground-floor revisions. Current geometry is in house.glb and both .blend files.

## Floor alignment correction (superseded)

The independent ground trace introduced sideways and longitudinal offsets at the stepped west facade. The user requested alignment according to the designs. The dimensioned first-floor envelope and day-render pages 1 and 4 now set the shared outer wall positions: west living face X=0, west recessed face X=1.31, return Y=5.57, east X=9.91, rear Y=0 and front Y=11.96. The ground slab uses that envelope; the ground rear step was removed to follow the exterior design. The upper floors, roof and exterior stair keep their existing dimensions and positions.

Ground rooms retain their confirmed functions, connections, seven windows, four internal doors and double entrance. Ground partitions, opening positions, furniture and room cameras were fitted within the aligned shell. These ground dimensions are an inferred reconciliation, not a dimensioned ground-floor plan. The slab area is now 110.153 m², and its relationship to the 104.9 m² source area requires measured ground dimensions.


## Dimensioned ground plan and exterior angles · 26 September 2026

The supplied `ground-floor-dimensioned.png` replaces the fitted upper-shell approximation. Its horizontal chain is 0.25 + 5.00 + 0.25 + 3.95 + 0.25 = 9.70 m; its right depth chain is 0.25 + 5.05 + 0.25 + 4.30 + 0.25 + 1.90 = 12.00 m. The ground footprint has a 1.25 m rear-left setback, a 1.10 m lower-left inset and a return 5.55 m from the ground plan origin. This yields 86.4025 m² enclosed. The front veranda is 8.60 × 1.90 m.

Registering the ground drawing at (+0.21,+0.02) m aligns the east face at X=9.91, recessed west face at X=1.31 and side return at Y=5.57 with the upper-floor plans. It deliberately retains the 0.21 m upper overhang, recessed rear-left ground wall and 0.06 m difference between front slab edges. These are dimensional differences, not an arbitrary translation of the upper floors. Upper-floor and roof dimensions are unchanged.

The front bedroom is 2.80 × 4.30 m clear, the rear bedroom 3.95 × 5.05 m, and the hall 2.45 m wide. The lower-left dimension string uses mixed faces: the 2.70 m segment includes its 0.25 m exterior wall. The kitchen/bath partition depth is proportional to the drawing, not annotated. The ground entrance, front parapet gap and 1.20 m wide stair share X=5.435. Stair run 1.80 m reconciles the external area; six treads and the 1.20 m raised ground elevation remain inferred. Exterior metal stairs move 0.30 m east as one assembly to clear the ground entry stair, while their bridge continues to meet the upper terrace.

`exterior-front-angle.jpg`, `exterior-rear-angle.jpg` and `exterior-side-angle.jpg` guide warmer red-brown brickwork, plaster parapets with stone coping, dark metal rails, ground brick infill/sidelights and sconces. Ground sidelights share upper bay positions; their widths/elevations are render-based because the ground plan does not annotate them. The illustrations and measured plans do not agree in every opening or basement detail. This revision prioritizes plan dimensions and preserves those distinctions rather than presenting every render detail as measured.

Thirty furnishings, wet-area finish, lights, room cameras and walkthrough start were repositioned inside the corrected shell. No surveyed elevations, basement plan or interior finish schedule have been supplied. Existing Blender still renders are historical; current review images are browser captures of the rebuilt GLB.
